Setting on Siemens S45 consist of 3 steps:Setting Profile (Data account).
On Siemens S45, setting profile consist of setting CSD/GPRS and setting WAP. Each profile represent media which we want, CSD and/or GPRS. These Settings available when customer already register that mean customer be allowed to access CSD and/or GPRS
Activate and Non-activate GPRS
Accessing WAP
Setting Profile GPRS
Press the right button for Menu. Scroll down to ´Surf&fun ´ and press the right button for ´Select´. At ´Internet´, press the right button for ´Select´.
Scroll down to ´Profiles´ and select the right button for ´v ´.
At ´Profile one´, press the left button for Edit´.
At ´Profile name´, press the right button for ´Edit´.
Type in indosatgprs.
Scroll down to the end and press the left button for ´Save´. Scroll down to ´WAP parameters´ and press the right button for ´Edit´.
Type in the following:
IP address: 010.019.019.019
Port: 9201
Homepage: http://wap.indosat.com
Linger time: 150
Scroll down to the end and press the left button for ´Save´.
Scroll down to ´GPRS settings´ and press the right button for ´Edit´.
Type in the following:
APN: indosatgprs
Login name: indosat
Password: indosat
Scroll down to the end and press the left button for ´Save´.
To Activate GPRS
activate GPRS mean all access WAP and WEB using GPRS. When GPRS ctive, CSD can't be use.
Press the right button for´Menu´.
Scroll down to ´Setup´ and press the right button for ´Select´.
Scroll down to ´Connectivity´ and press the right button for ´Select´. Scroll down to ´GPRS´ and press the right button for ´Select´. Display will ask ´Switch GPRS on?´, press the left button
The GPRS will on if the display appear:
Accessing Indosatgprs
Customer can access WAP with CSD or GPRS. Therefore, customer have to do :
setting profile GPRS
activate/nonactivate GPRS to ensure media that used (CSD or GPRS)
Press for´Menu ´, select ´Surf & fun ´,
Select´Internet ´
Select ´Homepage´
Customer will be connected to http://wap.indosat.com
